Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO)
Since 1935 American Baptists have contributed to special offerings received in their churches for retired ABC ministers and missionaries or their widowed spouses. In 1977 the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) was established. It is administered by The Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (MMBB), which assumes all administrative costs of promoting and distributing the RMMO. It is an opportunity for each of us to say, "Thank you!" to over 3,000 Spiritual leaders who have served in churches and mission fields. This offering provides emergency financial assistance to those in need as well as a Christmas bonus to all retired ministers, missionaries or their widowed spouses

World Mission
Offering (WMO)
Each year, the World Mission Offering is received to support the overseas work of the American Baptists through the Board of International Ministries. A unique feature of this offering is that the promotional costs are included in IM's annual budget, so that 100% of the offering supports foreign mission. The World Mission Offering, begun in 1950, is the largest single source of current income for the work of International Ministries. Every dollar given to the World Mission Offering goes directly to support global mission, and provides the necessary funding for 24% of the annual faith commitments made by International Ministries. Therefore, gifts to the offering are not over-and-above contributions; rather, they are the very backbone of our global mission work. The Go Global strategy is an ambitious plan to expand the impact of the Gospel around the world. With six mission priorities and fifteen mission principles, the Go Global strategy recognizes that mission is no longer from only the Western, industrialized nations, but "from, to and within all six continents." Mission is the responsibility of every believer to share the Gospel worldwide.
