Worship Choir

Hello!  I'm Pam England.  Thank you for your interest in the Music Ministry here at Calvary Baptist Church!

Our Choir meets every Wednesday at 7:30 pm to rehearse the music we present every 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, along with special presentations at Christmas and Easter.  The WORSHIP CHOIR includes singers ranging in age from High School to ? .  Anyone wanting to make a "joyful noise" to the Lord is welcome. Church membership is not required and there are no auditions.

Our Choir is made up of some of the greatest people you could ever hope to meet!  Talents range from beginner to very accomplished musicians but unified in just wanting to praise our awesome God with our combined offerings of music.

Our goal as a choir is not only to praise God through music but to also grow friendships that encourage our daily walk with Christ Jesus.

I have been involved with choral music since I was three years old when I sang my first solo.  I continued to sing solos, sang in trios and church choir through all my growing up days.  In High School I began leading the music during the worship service at church.  My love for music and the Lord led me to attend Johnson Bible College to study music and travel with music groups in the summer.  I transferred to Milligan College to study voice under a very talented choir director who taught me how important it was to interpret the message of the song I would sing.

After graduating from college, God opened doors of opportunity for me to lead many children and adult choirs, lead music at revivals and perform at Christian concerts.

My husband Tim and our two adult sons, Jeremy and Justin, have been there for me with encouragement and support with each ministry God has given me!

Finally, if you have a desire to be involved in the music ministry here at Calvary Baptist, please contact me!  I would love to sit and talk with you and help you take the first step in getting involved musically with us.
