Our group is open to anyone> 6th through 12th grade.

On Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:00 we have Bible study in the Youth room following the Family Night Supper.  We also meet on Saturday afternoon to have a short lesson and then the rest of the evening we do something fun like watch a movie, have game night, go out for supper, go shopping and more.  It is always a lot of fun and lasts from 6 PM to around 8 PM. Please check the church bulletin for the date.

YOUTH B.L.A.S.T. News

Wow, we had a great time at our winter retreat at Camp Tippy.  We had 14 youth and 3 adults attend.  The theme was It's Not A Game of Hide and Seek!  We talked about trying to hide from God, what ways we hide, the things we hide behind and how God always finds us.  We also talked about how we should be constantly seeking God.  We had a great time of fellowship.  We played games, went sliding and sledding.  Thanks to the prayers of many, we got about 3 inches of snow then rain on top of it which froze the next day.  This made for great sledding fun!!!  We had a few minor injuries but everyone's healing fine.  Ask Taylor Parrish and Jessica Melton why you shouldn't go sledding in your pajamas without a coat!!!

We are planning some fun activities for the youth in 2008.  Starting in January we will be hosting an all church volleyball night on the 19th.  Be at the church at 6:00pm ready for a little friendly competition.

2008 will prove to be a great year for our youth.  We have added adults to the youth team to help with this great ministry.  We welcome Bob Goodall and Matt and Tisa Slabach to the youth team.

We are working on planning a ski trip for February (tentatively the 16th).  We would like to open this up as well to the church family if you are interested in going with us.  I hope to have more information on this soon.

Also, we want to host a church-wide skating party sometime in March so keep a look out for information on this fun event.
